Cecilia Penn- Diallo: Co-Owner is a native Washingtonian and has been studying dance ever since the age of 3 years old. She has studying intensive ballet and modern with Lisa Owens founder of Dancers for Christ. She has also studied Traditional African dance with the Jacire Dance Studio under the instruction of the Kankouran West African Dance Company in Washington, DC. She also was a lead instructor at Angelic Praise Dance Ministry. Many accolades include Adrian Boltons Intense Summer Workshop, Specialized classes in African Dance, and touring with Angelic Praise Dance Ministry. Cecilia believes that if you have the love of dance in your heart, thats all you need.
Joy Curtis- Blair: Co-Owner is a graduate of The Duke Ellington School of Arts. There she studied dance art, ballet, tap, modern, and African. She has toured with the school and performed in professional showcases. She also was a lead dance instructor with Geddings Fashion Institute in Camp Springs, MD. Her professional career includes Joyce Laverne Dance School, Chorographer of professional modeling and hair shows, and Coordinator for Various Varity Shows within the metropolitan area.
Candace Penn: Lead Instructor is a student at Duke Ellington performing School of Arts. Candace has been dancing since the age of 3 tears old. She has had training in classical ballet, tap, and modern at Jacire Dance Studio in Forestville, MD. She is also was a teachers assistant at First Class Dance Studio in Suitland, MD where she also was apart of the Hip Hop Dance Team. Many of her accomplishments include Adrian Boltons Christian Dance Academy, Adrian Boltons Intense Summer Workshop and Debbie Allens Summer Workshop located in Culver City, CA. She has danced with professionals from all types of dance backgrounds, from Alvin Alley to local dance studios in the area.
